Who Am I?

DSC_8536.jpg

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Professional. I specialize in maternal and child mental health.  My passion is in helping people live more fully as their true authentic selves, and to be the person, parent, partner they most deeply wish to be. I specialize in Maternal Mental Health, also known as Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) and Childhood-related Issues, such as trauma, and developmental delays and disorders.

I have spent my whole working life in the “helping field.” I am proud to say after many years of hard work, I’ve arrived at my dream goal of being a therapist. I truly believe therapy can be life changing. I feel I can support others in a way that will meet their goals and needs.  After becoming a mother and struggling with my own PMAD, I sought help but found many therapists were not properly trained in this specialty. Wanting to help others like myself I sought to make that difference. Fast forward three years and I am now a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional.

My fee is $160 per 50 minute session of individual therapy. I also offer therapy on a sliding scales so please contact me to discuss your needs.

I currently accept UnitedHealthcare. I can also provide you with a Superbill (receipt of services) for submittal to your insurance company if you have a PPO plan with out-of-network (OON) benefits. Please call your insurance company to find out about your plan's OON benefits because you may be eligible for reimbursement of part of your fee.

Health Savings Accounts, or HSA, is also accepted.
